This week, ESET experts revealed how The Dukes, the APT group suspected of breaching the DNC several years ago, has been busy compromising government targets while staying under the radar for years. ESET researchers also uncovered that Amazon Echo and Kindle were vulnerable to Wi-Fi vulnerabilities known as KRACK while another team described updates to the malware arsenal and campaigns of the Winnti Group. In yet another major research effort, ESET experts discovered a trojanized Tor Browser distributed by cybercriminals to steal bitcoins from darknet market buyers.
