Shavlik NetChk® Protect

Shavlik NetChk Protect scans Microsoft-based and third party programs running on the machines in your network. It assesses the current patch status of those machines and enables you to deploy any missing patches. In addition, Shavlik NetChk Protect also provides a custom patch editor that enables you to create and maintain custom patches on your machines. This enables you to patch virtually any Windows program on your network.

Shavlik NetChk Protect provides you with an easy-to-implement, easy-to use, and cost-effective method for improving your security posture. SSI provides an unparalleled ability to quickly and continuously deliver an enterprise-wide reach into security intelligence. It collects data from multiple sources and makes it available in one location. This greatly simplifies the task of tracking the security state of any sized network. SSI’s comprehensive enterprise view presents you with the information you need to quickly assess your risk level and act accordingly. For example, you might use the information to determine if defensive measures, such as applying critical patches or updating configuration policies, are required to successfully defend the corporate network from attack.

Shavlik NetChk®Audit

Shavlik NetChk Protect Audit Edition provides robust patch and spyware scanning and advanced reporting features, similar to those found in the award winning Shavlik NetChk Protect. Great for auditors and consultants - the Audit Edition does not require any software to be installed on the systems being scanned. Flexible licensing is available to suit a variety of needs. The Audit Edition does not include patch or spyware remediation functions.

Shavlik NetChk Audit offers support for today's most widely used platforms including Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows Server 2003. Additionally Shavlik NetChk Audit scans popular Microsoft and non-Microsoft applications including Microsoft Office, SQL Server, Exchange Server, Adobe Reader, Firefox, Real Player, WinZip and many others.
